Little Avondale is a lush 283 acre property in the beautiful Wairarapa valley just north of New Zealand's capital, Wellington. Premium thoroughbred breeding facilities alongside beautifully fenced paddocks in Magnum material guided by an experienced team ensure horse's safety is first and foremost at all times.
We enjoy an excellent climate, an added bonus when our goal is always to have our equine friends leaving LA looking and feeling better than they did on arrival - whether they've been served, have foaled or have come to us for agistment.
Little Avondale also boasts its own strong group of quality broodmares - a band that has grown and developed since 1940, thanks to the founding partnership of Alister and Nancy Williams.
These mares, along with our resident sire Per Incanto were, in 2018, joined by The National Stud's Time Test, enabling us to offer outstanding New Zealand thoroughbreds to an international market thats going from strength to strength.
