Nadeem Filly Highlight Of A Good Day For Her Sire At Wanganui

Exceptional (Nadeem-Sazerac by Bertolini) looked every bit well named going by her all the way win on debut at the Wanganui meeting on Thursday. A clear leader within the first 100m, the Roydon Bergerson trained 3YO filly wasn’t ridden out to win the maiden 1200m by nearly two lengths.

Exceptional continues the good trot Roydon Bergerson has had with the stock of Nadeem, with his last start Trentham winner Heisenberg (Nadeem-Nikki’s Bride by O’Reilly) recently been purchased by Hong Kong interests.

Two other members of Nadeem’s oldest NZ crop 3YO’s, the lightly raced pair of Saint Croix (Nadeem-Virgin Islands by O’Reilly) and Sarden (Nadeem-Spend A Penny by Pentire) also performed creditably at Wanganui, running on strongly for third in their respective 1340m events.

Another great job by LA Stud, we have complete confidence in you guys
