In South Africa, his progressive son Fareeq (Nadeem-Azwa by Haafhd), 4th in a strong Listed event at his penultimate start, won his 4thrace, over 1400m, while last season’s leading 2YO filly Karavali (Nadeem- Just Diamonds by No Excuse Needed) continues to build pleasingly towards a possible Queensland Oaks campaign, with a strong finishing 2nd over 1600m in Sydney last Friday.
Attention focuses on Trentham this Saturday where his St Leger Trial winning daughter Shared Secrets (Nadeem-Eva Kelly by O’Reilly) is sure to have her fair share of support when she lines up in the Group 1 Wellfield NZ Oaks at Trentham.
