Boxing Day Ellerslie winner Money Trail (Per Incanto-Nikki Bride by O'Reilly) and last weeks Te Rapa open handicap victor Cutting Up Rough (Per Incanto-Lutine Belle by O'Reilly) share a number similarities.
Both members of Per Incanto's inaugural crop, they also share the same damsire and were cheap sale purchases.
And remarkably the pair of 7YO's seem to be getting better with age. Bred by LA, Don Gordon and Bryan Hutchinson, the well named Money Trail has been a model of consistency weighing in at 60% of his 45 career starts and accumulating nearly $50k of his $125k total stake earnings this season alone.
Last season's No.2 active sire in NZ, Per Incanto, is represented by his best bred crop of yearlings at next months NZB Karaka Yearling Sale.
