Exciting sprinter Don Carlo (Per Incanto-Turf Fire by O’Reilly) showed his preparation for the black-type Pegasus/Stewards double at the upcoming NZ Cup Carnival was on track with an all the way win over 1200m at Timaru on Friday.
Trained by Michael Daley for owner Rod Moore, the Per Incanto four-year-old has the excellent record of five wins in just nine starts.
Some of the quality opposition beaten by Don Carlo in his brief career include La Diosa, Sensei, Zigwig, Residential and Kiwi Ida.
