Towkays Big Australian Earner

The LA bred Electronic Million (Towkay-Gaysutina) took his prize money earnings to over a quarter of a million dollars with his win over 2000m at Morphettville in Adelaide on 14 August.

Another off shore winner for Towkay over the last week came in the form of the interestingly named Bulkkatcheoreom (Towkay-Ball Road) who won over 1000m in Korea on 21 August while the former Lisa Latta trained Xpectation (Towkay-Wooden Doll) almost made it a notable 24 hour foreign double for her sire when just beaten the following day in an 1100m Allowance purse at Arlington Park in Washington, USA.

Klose (Thorn Park-Thunderchine) looks to be another classy customer from his female family judging by his maiden win at Otaki on 15 August at just his second start for trainer Marty Breslin. This of course is the family originating from the fine LA bred matron Sellou and responsible for the likes of Roman Emperor, Black Mamba and Rios.

Sam made little secret of his favourite yearling in our 2009 Karaka Yearling Sale draft and that wrap may prove to be not too far off the mark if Harry the Lion (Pins-Foxtrot) can back-up his impressive run for second at his first public outing, which came in a 900m trial at Rosehill last week. The three-year-old colt was a $120,000 purchase by Anthony Cummings at Karaka.

The foals have started arriving on the farm with the first being a spritely Gold Centre colt, the next  a half sister to Marquart, an O'Reilly-Centrefold Angel filly born on 16th August, a High Chaparral filly from Reigning To Win's family and an outstanding Towkay colt from the stakes placed mare Myladys.

Confidence in knowing that buying an LA product it has being raised properly and with their record of success in black-type racing you have a better than even chance of the horse competing at the pinnacle of Australasian racing
