This Sunday sees the annual parade of our Karaka yearlings. The yearlings will be paraded first at 10.30am followed by the stallions Nadeem, Per Incanto and Towkay. We would be delighted if you could then stay on for some refreshments. For directions to LA please click here.
What a Xmas for Nadeem! In the space of ten days the stallion has had 12 individual winners.
Some of the more impressive winners were the John, Wayne and Michael Hawkes trained three-year-old Happy Galaxy (Nadeem-Seven Stars by King’s Best) who took out a 1200m event at Rosehill on New Years Day and Luffy (Nadeem-Catscan by Tale of the Cat) who won over 1400m in Hong Kong on Sunday.
Interestingly for those of you with Sound Reason line mares, Cosworth Park (Nadeem- Heart Set by St Covet) who won over 1350m at Doomben on 2 January is bred 3 X 4 to Sound Reason.
Nadeem has four yearlings in the upcoming Karaka Select Sale, including LOT 478 from our draft, a colt from the Rory’s Jester mare Belle Jest.
Congratulations to Andrew Lockyer and Charles Whyte for the win of their mare Colourful Lady (Towkay-Colouring Up) over 1400m at Hastings on New Years Day.
