The highest priced Time Test yearling sold at public auction in Australia to date, Running On Time has lived up to her looks. After winning her first two starts the Maher/Eustace stable stepped her up to stakes company in Adelaide where she did an admirable job, just getting run down in a Listed event over 1800m. She was then stepped up to Group 1 company in the 2000m Australasian Oaks where she ran down the track but it's worth noting that the winner was the horse that narrowly defeated her the start before and they both started well backed at around the same price in the Oaks.
Bred by LA, Running On Time was $165,000 purchase from the Noorlim Park draft at the 2021 Inglis Melbourne Premier sale by Ciaron Maher/Thompson Creek Thoroughbreds.
In just the right stable to get the very best out of her obvious talent, look for Running On Time to frank her Autumn form and go one better in a black-type event this season.
