All In The Family For Hong Kong Gr.2 Winner

Glorious Days (Hussonet-San Century) who won the Gr.2 Jockey Club Mile in Hong Kong on Sunday joins a number of recent group winners descending from female lines developed by LA and its predecessor Te Parae. His second, third and fourth dams, Sandrac, Sellou and Sanderae were all bred by the family. This is the same family as the New Zealand Broodmare of the Year Gussy Godiva who left AJC Derby winner Roman Emperor and the Waikato Stud stallion Rios.

LA will take two close relatives of Glorious Days to the Sydney and Karaka Yearling Sales after Xmas. Bondi Beauty (Danasinga-Sandrac), a half sister to the dam of Glorious Days will be represented by a Pins colt, while Ashley Downs (Grosvenor-Sellou), already the dam of New Zealand Oaks runner-up Can’t Keeper Down, will have a Darci Brahma filly.

Earlier in the year LA bought a Flying Spur ½ sister to Glorious Days in partnership with Sports Syndications Steven Seabrook, she’s recently returned home in foal to Denman

More black type came the farms way last Wednesday when the LA bred and raced Kekova (Elusive City-Racing Waters) ran a close second in the Listed Valachi Downs Canterbury Breeders Stakes at Riccarton.

Another great job by LA Stud, we have complete confidence in you guys
