Flash Roca took advantage of a significant drop in class to bounce back to winning form at Riccarton.
Bred by LA Stud with JML Bloodstock, the El Roca five-year-old had been unplaced in the G3 Winter Cup and reverted to Rating 75 company on the closing day of the carnival to deliver her fifth career victory.
Flash Roca is trained by Kelvin Tyler (pictured) and races the five-year-old with his family after purchased her for $6000 at Karaka in 2023.
She is the first foal of Flashdance, who is out of a sister multiple Group 1 winner and champion sire High Chaparral, with the Lonhro mare currently in foal to Little Brose.
