Castillian Doubles Down at Doomben

Per Incanto’s in-form son Castillian made it two wins on the bounce when he made light of 60kg to waltz home over 1350 metres at Doomben.

Trained by Tony Gollan, the LA homebred now has seven wins to his credits with the last two on the bounce following his previous stroll to victory at the Gold Coast.

“It was another huge win, he’s a lovely horse and a pleasure to work with,” stable representative Craig Cavanough said.

We sold Castillian through Sledmere Stud’s draft at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale where he realised $300,000. His dam is the More Than Ready mare Anaween, whose In The Congo filly was sold for $400,000 at Karaka earlier this year to Te Akau.

Confidence in knowing that buying an LA product it has being raised properly and with their record of success in black-type racing you have a better than even chance of the horse competing at the pinnacle of Australasian racing
