Double For Nadeem

Franking some good trial form in Sydney, Spring Rose (Nadeem-Rosa Brava by Thunder Gulch) resumed from a spell to win over 1100m at Hawkesbury yesterday, running her last 600 in sub 34 seconds in the process.

Spring Rose’s success bought up a double for her sire in Australia this week following the win of Nodeemn (Nadeem-Angels by Quest For Fame) at Newcastle on Saturday.

The LA bred Albion (Pins-Rites of Spring by Stravinsky), was successful over 1200m in Queensland on Sunday. Albion’s mum Rites of Spring has a promising first starter set to debut in the LA colours at Hawkes Bay on Sunday called Fyodor (Darci Brahma-Rites of Spring).

Riyadh (Darci Brahma – Tempestra by O’Reilly), a nice winner over 1650m in Hong Kong on Wednesday was sold from our 2011 Karaka Premier draft to Beamish Bloodstock.

Zed had two winners last weekend with Atozed (Zed-Our Secret by Hey Baba Riba) winning a competitive 1600m at Awapuni, followed a day later by Something Zed (Zed-Hearts Are Trumps) taking a 1400m contest at Motukarara. Something Zed is entered for the Listed Yesberg Insurance Services Pegasus Stakes at Riccarton Park this Saturday.
