Impressive Win To LA Debutant

Fyodor (Darci Brahma-Rites of Spring by Stravinsky) justified his short priced favouritism with a win on debut in the 1200m Silver Farms Maiden Sprint at Hastings on Sunday. His dam Rites of Spring has a Nadeem colt at foot.

Our focusis now on the Ready to Run Sale at Karaka on the 19th and 20th of November.

The first of our offerings, prepared under the Lyndhurst banner, is LOT 10, a Pentire gelding from the stakespaced Rory’s Jester mare Foxtrot. There looks to be some real upside to the family with the first foal from a half sister to the lot running an eye catching third on debut in a listed 2YO race over the Melbourne Spring Carnival. And it’s a family that has worked with Pentire before with a three-quarter sister to Foxtrot leaving the dual Gr.1 winning Pentire mare Zarita.

LOT 291, sold under the Bradbury Park banner, is a Towkay full brother to the stakeswinner and four times Gr.1 placed Towkay speed machine Kay’s Awake. The gelding breezed up sweetly in a comfortable 10.31.

Our offering is completed by LOT 300, also prepared by Lyndhurst Farm. The attractive Towkay full brother to last season’s Gr.1 winner Viadana (Towkay-Yeah Nah) bears a strong physical resemblence to his sister at a similar age and judging by his impressive breeze-up the similarities do not stop there. Viadana, who resumed with a listed win at Rotorua last month, has a trademark turn of foot and her brother looks to have inherited the same capability.
