Wins by the mares Fasteille (Per Incanto-Youtoofast by Fast ‘n’Famous) and Belle Fascino (Per Incanto-Playing for Keeps by Keeper) at Taupo and New Plymouth since Boxing Day have continued Per Incanto’s winning trot since 1 December, a streak which peaked with his trifecta in the Listed Hallmark Stakes at Ellerslie.
Sitting third on the NZ sires premiership, Per Incanto has an excellent chance to strengthen that position on New Years Day at Ellerslie where he’s represented by Indecision (Per Incanto-Yeah Nah by Kinjite), Santa Monica (Per Incanto-Monarch by Volksradd) and Rocanto (Per Incanto-Romantic Liaisons by Danasinga) in the Group 1 Sistema Railway and Magnum (Per Incanto-Sound Lover by Sound Reason) in the Group 2 Rich Hill Mile.
