Flemington Cup Week Winner for Per Incanto

Per Incanto certainly gets you to the ‘big dances” especially when it comes to Australian racing and further evidence came in the form of Precious Charm (Per Incanto-Highly Valued by High Chaparral) who was successful on Oaks Day at Flemington on Thursday.
Bred by Beaufort Downs Stud in Canterbury, the 4YO mare showed a ton of heart in her latest win, her third in four career starts, being clearly headed at the 200m before kicking back to win the $163k event over 1700m. The Simon Wilde trained mare was stepping up from a 1200m win at her home track of Warrnambool a week ago, reinforcing the significance of her performance.
Precious Charm was an $80,000 purchase by her trainer, John White Bloodstock and Pinhook Bloodstock, from Karaka Book 1 in 2021. Highly Valued, the dam of Precious Charm, is due to be served by Per Incanto any day.
Congratulations to Olly and Annabel Tuthill from Beaufort Downs who have been enthusiastic supporters of Per Incanto.
