First NZ Winner for Time Test

Time Test, the leading 1st season sire for black type winners in Europe, is off the mark in New Zealand following the emphatic win of his son Time Ruler in the 2YO at Tauranga on Friday, a five and a half length victory which has qualified the Lance O'Sullivan and Andrew Scott trained gelding for the $1million dollar Karaka Million on Saturday week at Ellerslie.

Timeless, a daughter of Time Test bred and raced by Judge John Clapham, ran 3rd in the event which also looks to have qualified her for the Karaka Million.

Replicating a common pattern amongst Time Test’s progeny in the northern hemisphere, Time Ruler has improved the further he gets into his preparation. Time Ruler was also wearing blinkers for the 1st time at Tauranga.

Time Test has also been represented domestically by the impressive Time Flies, whose debut effort for a close 2nd has been well and truly franked by the winner coming out at her next start and being 1st across the line in the Group 2 Eclipse Stakes on New Years Day.

Time Test has 34 yearlings entered for the NZB Karaka Yearling Sale in March.

Another great job by LA Stud, we have complete confidence in you guys
