Shadows Casts (Per Incanto-Ages Past by Slavic) impressive win over the open class sprinters in the 1400m Redcraze Bowl at Awapuni has booked the five-year-old a ticket to the Group 2 Couplands Mile at Riccarton on 15 November.
While earlier on the Fielding JC card saw a deserved maiden 1600m win to the Gerard Innes trained and owned Outstanding (Per Incanto-Seathepost by Postponed).
Also in Singapore the Sydney Classic graduate Terms of Reference (Per Incanto - Myladys) took his career earnings to just shy of $400,000 recording his seventh win.
Last seasons Group 2 winner All Our Roads (Road To Rock - Dancing Daze by Dance Floor) bred by LA and Don Gordon found himself in the unaccustomed role of pacemaker in the Group 1 Kennedy Mile at Flemington. He fought tenaciously to run a very close 4th to good friends and clients Christopher and Susannah Grace bred and owned Shillelagh (Savabeel-Trocair by Flying Spur).
Earlier on the card at Melbournes Premier race day another Christopher Grace bred Luvaluva (Mastercraftsman - Wansesingyee) took out the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes. Wasesingyee has a Per Incanto colt LOT 424 being presented at the Ready To Run Sales in two weeks time.
