Tee Town’s (Savabeel-Kekova by Elusive City) winning debut at Warrnambool on Thursday continues the impressive run of form by graduates from LA’s 2017 Karaka Premier draft.
Purchased by his trainer Simon Wilde for $150k, Tee Town joins Byzantine (Savabeel-Baradevi by Volksraad), Princess Amelie (Snitzel-Just Dancing by Fusaichi Pegasus) and last Saturday’s impressive Te Rapa debutant Star Performance (Per Incanto-Star Guest by Pentire) as juvenile winners from the draft.
Add in the likes of the unraced seven and a half length trial winner Ritzy Sparkle (Pins-Kumari by Zabeel) and Mighty Connor (Sebring-Kallisan by Stratum), an eye catching third at Hastings last Saturday at his second start, and LA’s 2017 Karaka Premier draft looks like being a special line-up.
