LA Ready To Run

LA Ready to Run Sale Draft

It's never easy to get the total mix right for a horse sale; sires go in and out of fashion and horses develop physically at different rates however we feel our draft for this weeks Ready To Run Sale at Karaka is as close to perfection as we have achieved in a number of years.

Our draft which this year sell under the quality banner of Lyndhurst Farm, kicks off on Tuesday with Hip 74 the Darci Brahma colt from the stakes producing Sound Reason mare Clermont Rose.

Early on the second day sees one of the most anticipated lots of the Sale in Hip 185. The Pins colts who breezed up in a smart 10.48 seconds for 200m is a half brother to this seasons stakeswinning ad group two placed Melbourne three-year-old Collar and the multiple group winning and Group One Queensland Derby placed Larry's Never Late.

As one of only three progeny by champion sire Zabeel in the Sale Hip 198 has more going than most. Add to this his competitive breeze-up of 10.94, unusually sharp for a Zabeel two-year-old, and the three quarter brother to the group one winning Dress Circle will appeal to buyers looking for a classic middle distance type.

The last member of our draft is Hip 283, a well made son of the rapidly emerging sire Savabeel from the family of He's Remarkable. This year's Group One VRC Derby winner Sangster, also by Savabeel, was bought from this Sale last year

A family operation and success over many years, plus a location in a beautiful, under rated part of the country.
