Leading Trainers Secure LA's Magic Millions Lots

Hawkes Racing purchased the final of LA’s three offerings at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, securing the Savabeel - Shandream colt for A$370,000 on Friday.

Melbourne trainer Mick Price, who bought this season’s Australian stakes winner Craftsmanship from LA’s 2018 Karaka Book 1 draft, purchased LA’s Brazen Beau-Fortune’s Choice colt for A$220,000 on Thursday while Sydney trainer David Payne paid A$95,000 for the Belardo-Anaween colt on the opening day.

These results don’t happen by chance and so much credit goes to the LA team at home and the Sledmere Stud crew who have again done a wonderful job getting the three boys to peak this week.

LA’s sale focus now shifts to the NZB Karaka Yearling Sales, starting with the annual parade at LA on Thursday January 15th from 4pm.
