Stud Sponsor Race at Hastings on 27 August
The Per Incanto syndicate are delighted to be able to support the Hawkes Bay Racing Club by sponsoring the first race on the card at the clubs much anticipated group one raceday this Saturday. The Per Incanto at LA Three-Year-Old looks an open race, but for those of you looking for a pointer it may pay to consider the Kevin Myers trained Darci Brahma gelding Minter.
The LA and R Tunnicliffe bred Orchidium (Bertolini-Cymbidium) who broke her maiden with success at Foxton last week over 1400m, backs up at Hastings this weekend and while meeting a particularly strong field in the last race, would not be without a chance, particularly if the Hastings track stays around it s current soft 8 reading.
The big snowfall in Masterton last week has made for a challenging start to the foaling season but we are pleased to report 5 healthy foals so far, including a long awaited first foal from the mare Kalamanda, who the farm own in conjunction with Justice Lowell Goddard and ABP Enterprises.
Please do not delay if you are considering making a booking to our new Street Cry stallion Per Incanto. His book is genuinely close to being full and we would hate to disappoint anyone.
We are really looking forward to the next couple of months with Towkay's three-year-olds. He has a number of lightly raced or unraced types getting close to kicking off campaigns. Towkay stands this season for just $5,000 plus GST.
