More Exciting Young Per Incanto Talent

Per Incanto debutant Ramazzotti (Per Incanto-Suzie the Cat by O’Reilly) who showed a clean pair of heels to her two-year-old rivals at Pukekohe on Sunday is another in an increasing line-up of Per Incanto juveniles with genuine black-type credentials.

Bred and raced by Lib Petagna, the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman trained filly’s trials form saw her heavily backed and the strongly made filly never gave her supporters much cause for concern, jumping to the front and comfortably holding her rivals up the long Pukekohe straight.

“Gate speed and professionalism that was the key”, Forsman said.

“We will have to look at some black-type and I think she will get through tracks a bit slower than this which will be a big assist over the next couple of months.”

Group 3 placed Hasstobegood (Per Incanto-Don’t Dilly Dally by Howbaddowantit) and Glenda Goodwitch (Per Incanto-Turf Fire by O’Reilly) have already shown their black-type wares this season. The likes of Ramazzotti, promising Melbourne filly Maktabba (Per Incanto- Maraaseem by Redoute’s Choice) and a number of unraced trial winners round-out a strong arsenal of young talent for Per Incanto.

Buzz’s crazy ads, but on a slightly more serious note, how the family have continued to produce sound, genuine and class performers is testimony to the family and their staffs dedication and horsemanship.
