More Sale Success For Per Incanto

On the back of an outstanding Karaka Sale, Per Incanto has again found a strong international bench of buyers at the Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.

Pinhooked from the 2017 NZB Weanling Sale for $90,000, the Per Incanto colt from the Danasinga mare Inertia was an expensive proposition for his vendor Woburn Farm, however the Cambridge based entity had little reason to doubt their judgement with Hong Kong based Sweet Briar outlasting spirited opposition to land the colt for $330,000 during the first session of the sale on Saturday.

Fellow Hong Kong buyers Magnus Equine also got on the Per Incanto train, purchasing the LA bred and owned colt from Kurabeel for $130,000 during the second session of the sale.

On the weekend racing front Per Incanto sprinter Don Carlo (Per Incanto-Turf Fire by O’Reilly) added to his impressive record defeating a number of black-type winners to take the 1000m open handicap at Richardton on Saturday. Expertly handled by Washdyke conditioner Michael Daley, the listed placed performer has now won six for his 12 career starts.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all the team at Little Avondale for doing another amazing job looking after my mare and bringing her precious foal safely into the world. Always such a relief knowing they will have the best of care with you!
