NZ Derby aspirant Redeem The Dream (Nadeem-Knocknacrea by Green Desert) looks a genuine contender for the staying Classic after his strong finish for second in Listed  2100m Life Salver 3YO at Ellerslie on Sunday, capping a productive weekend for his sirewhich commenced with a winning double at the Sydney Friday evening meeting at Canterbury.

Having just his third race day start and his first at Ellerslie, a track which often trips many a good horse at their first experience, the Shaun Ritchie trained colt made ground stylishly from second last at the turn.
