Group 2 winning 3YO Spanish Bay (Nadeem-Belle Jest by Rory’s Jester) showed that he’s come up well for a new campaign with a close third in the Gr.3 Jumbo Jet Trophy (1400m) at Kranji on Sunday.
Bought from our 2013 Karaka Select draft by Michael Freedman and Michael Wallace, the James Peters trained Nadeem five-year-old gelding went down by a nose and half a length to last season’s Singapore Three-Year-Old Challenge and Gr.1 Singapore Guineas winner Debt Collector.
