Nadeem Mare Adds To Resume

Progressive Nadeem mare Ammirata (Nadeem-Iguana Jo by Dynaformer) added to an impressive record when winning over 1500m at Rosehill on Saturday. The four-year-old Joe Pride trained mare was registering her fourth win in a ten start career which also includes three minor placings.

You Can’t Be (Nadeem-Sirius Miss by Galileo) appreciated the step to 1800m when breaking his maiden impressively in Victoria on Sunday.

Nadeem has some outstanding types in the NZB Karaka Yearling Sales which commence on 25 January 2016.

Our long serving head groom Helen Phinney had a spectacular result with the filly she bred, owns and races as part of a syndicate, Morris Lass (Per Incanto-Senagalia by Don Eduardo) winning over 1400m at Otaki last Thursday. Along with the $53 dividend and a $11,500 Pearl bonus to the winning connections, Helen has a Per Incanto colt LOT 925 closely related to Morris Lass in the LA draft for the NZB Select Sale on 29 January 2016.

Wishing everyone a very merry Xmas and happy New Year.  If you are around the area on 10 January we would love to see you at the annual parade of our Karaka yearlings here at the farm, kicking off at 10.30am.

Aside from Sam greeting me at Karaka every year with “Have I got a horse for you” it’s about breeding successful and sound horses
