New Australian Stakes Performer for Per Incanto

Little Brose (Per Incanto-Mohegan Sky by Straight Man) certainly looks a horse for the future after the Per Incanto two-year-old colt ran a slashing second on debut in the 1000m Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington on Tuesday.

Bred by David Wallace, the colt was a $200,000 purchase by Lindsay Park Racing from the Sledmere draft at this year’s Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

Co incidentally, the time-honoured Maribyrnong Plate was won by Nadeem in 2005. Subsequent winner of the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner and voted Australian two-year-old of the year, Nadeem stood nine seasons at stud at LA.

Family, our families have done so much together in the industry and sociably, there's not too many industries today that allow you to do that.
