New Stakeswinner Caps a Winning Week

Per Incanto added to his tally of six winners in seven days with another three winners on Saturday including his 15th individual stakes winner Lightning Jack (Per Incanto-La Petite by Savabeel), who was successful in the Listed 1335m Liquorland Gore Guineas.

On Thursday in Brisbane, the Chris Waller trained Mantelli (Per Incanto-One Love by Danasinga) followed-up a second on debut to break his maiden nicely at Doomben, while the evening before saw Flying Godspell (Per Incanto-Godspell by God’s Own) win in Hong Kong.

Fibonacci (Per Incanto-Da Vinci Code by Danasinga) led all the way to score over 1200m in 1.7.78 at Trentham followed later in the afternoon by evergreen sprinter Rocanto’s (Per Incanto-Romantic Liaisons by Danasinga) ninth career success in the feature sprint on the Gore Guineas card.

These latest results, which feature three winners from Danasinga mares, bear testimony to the versatility of Per Incanto’s pedigree. With just a single line of Northern Dancer, breeders have a greater range of broodmare mating options.

And on the topic of successful nicks, Ligthning Jack’s success is Per Incanto’s second stakes winner from a Savabeel mare. Lot 356 in LA’s Karaka Book 1 draft happens to be the only Per Incanto yearling at Karaka from a Savabeel mare and for good measure he’s a full brother to the stakes winning filly and dual Australian metropolitan winner It’s Time For Magic.

Of course Savabeel is from a Success Express mare and a certain Winx is bred on the same pattern, by Street Cry (Per Incanto’s sire) from a daughter of Al Akbar, a son of Success Express.

I can't thank enough for today and meeting Yoshitoshi. I really really enjoyed it and Luka was over the moon she talked about it all the way home. Your staff were amazing and Sam coming to meet us was just the icing on the cake. What an amazing place
