Per Incanto Averages $200k at Inglis Classic
Per Incanto’s popularity in the sale ring continued on the second day of the Inglis Classic Sale, with the second of his two-lot consignment selling to Warwick Farm trainer Bruce Heys for $180k. This follows the sale on Sunday of the colt from the Magnus mare Perfect Beat for $225k to Hong Kong interests.
Offered by Sledmere Stud on behalf of LA, Monday’s lot was the first foal of the Animal Kingdom mare Savanna, a half-sister to the promising Bjorn Baker trained Per Incanto mare Belluci Babe whose three wins to date include a Randwick success.
Sledmere and Lime Country offered two Time Test yearlings on Sunday on behalf of LA. The colt from stakes producing mare Tick Tock Time was bought by Byron Rogers for $80k, while the filly from Volksraad mare A Chance To Dream sold to leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan for $100k via the excellent judge John Foote.
LA’s final lot which is offered on Tuesday under Sledmere’s banner is certain to generate a great deal of interest. By hugely popular first season sire Almanzor, the colt is a half brother to the Group 1 winning Per Incanto filly Bonham.
