Momentum which commenced from his first parade at LA in the autumn of 2011, then spiked at the Sydney Classic Sale a fortnight ago, has now literally jumped off the Richter scale with Per Incanto’s (Street Cry-Pappa Reale by Indian Ridge) outstanding Karaka debut this week.
The sprinting son of Street Cry had 13 yearlings sell at Karaka for an average of just over $54,000, including 12 in Select for $50,500, stunning value for his first season service fee of $4,000 plus GST. This week’s results came on the back of his four yearlings at Sydney Classic averaging $60,875, annexing the first season sires title by a considerable margin and a stunning second place finish on the overall sires list to Not A Single Doubt.
Per Incanto’s results were part of a very strong Select Sale for LA where our average of $61,591 was a nice lift on our 2013 result.
Congratulations to the Block Partnership on a wonderful result with their Showcasing – Della Lobra colt selling for $120,000, our equal top price for Select with the Savabeel – Just Diamonds colt for Max Brown and Fusion Thoroughbreds.
Thank you to all our purchasers, the regulars and the new – we wish you all the best with the horses raised with the LA staff’s traditional nurturing and commitment.
