Niamh Elizabeth (Per Incanto-Trove by Paris Opera) capped some good form with a deserved win on Wednesday at Matamata over 1200m; a result which saw Per Incanto increase his lead by three wins over nearest challenger Savabeel for the title of NZ sire for individual three-year-old winners for 2015/16.
Per Incanto’s 24 individual winners puts him five and six wins ahead of Showcasing and Swiss Ace respectively amongst second season sires.
Per Incanto has been represented by seven individual three-year-old stakes performers in the 2015/16 season including multiple Group 1 placed & stakes placed Magnum, Group 2 runner-up Glorious Beijing and Shadows Cast, runner-up in the Group 3 Wellington Stakes to subsequent AJC Derby winner Tavago.
