Per Incanto Leads

Per Incanto’s contest with Savabeel for the title of leading NZ sire of individual three-year-old winners continues neck and crop with the LA stallion getting one back on his Waikato Stud counterpart courtesy of the debut win of Malacanto (Per Incanto-Malaya by Towkay)at Tauherenikau on Queens Birthday Monday over 1000m.

Malacanto’s success was a real local affair with the filly bred by LA, AE von Sturmer and her trainer Ian Wyeth and owned by Ian and AE von Sturmer. Her dam also happens to be a daughter of the recently retired LA stallion Towkay.

Nadeem’s winners to runners ratio in Hong Kong sits at an outstanding 77% from nine runners following the maiden win of the four-year-old Nitro Express (Nadeem-Princess Laya by Encosta De Lago) at Sha Tin on Sunday.

Buzz’s crazy ads, but on a slightly more serious note, how the family have continued to produce sound, genuine and class performers is testimony to the family and their staffs dedication and horsemanship.
