Per Incanto Filly Impressive On Debut

Well bred filly Indecision (Per Incanto-Yeah Nah by Kinjite) pictured here as a yearling, lived-up to her trials form with a decisive win on debut at Avondale on Wednesday over 800m.

The half-sister to triple Group 1 winner Viadana (Towkay) ran her last 600m in 33.52, easily the fastest sectional of the Avondale programme, to comfortably defeat the well backed fellow first starter Bruce Arthur, with a telling eight lengths to the third place getter.

“I was sitting there waiting to pounce and she had a lot more in the tank,” winning rider Danielle Johnson said. “She’ll be a lovely horse in another six months.”

Indecision, bred by LA and Nicole Smyth was a $260,000 purchase from our 2015 Karaka Premier draft by Bruce Perry Bloodstock for Trelawney Stud.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
