Per Incanto Makes A Million

Per Incanto’s seasonal progeny earnings in NZ went past the million dollar mark with Kate The Great’s (Per Incanto – Princess Chapel by Kings Chapel) success at Waverley on Thursday while Nadeem’s stakesplaced son Perfect Harmonee (Nadeem-Harmony by Zabeel) rounded out a successful day for LA when he took out the final event.

Kate The Great is the 57th individual winner from 88 runners from Per Incanto’s first crop giving the Street Cry stallion an exceptional  64.5% winners to runners ratio.

Per Incanto sits comfortably inside the top 10 on the NZ Sires Premiership, a great achievement with only three crops of racing age - a lighter representation than the seven sires currently above him.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
