Per Incanto On Target for Group 1 Mile

Stripping a much fitter horse for his resuming run, Central Districts star Dolcetto (Per Incanto-Our Shiraz by Nediym) took out the feature event at Awapuni on Boxing Day, the 1550m Manawatu Standard Summer Cup. Watch the RACE HERE.

The Per Incanto 5YO who has the imposing record of eight wins and two seconds from 12 starts including six wins in his last seven starts is due to start next in the Group 1 Harcourts Thorndon Mile at Trentham on 20 January.

Earlier on the Awapuni programme saw fellow five-year-old Casaquinman (Per Incanto-Puan Silk by Towkay) from the in-form Shane Brown stable at Woodville remain unbeaten this preparation with success over 1200m.
