LA had dual cause for celebration following the Inglis Ready2Race Sale in Sydney on Monday.
Offered on behalf of Brown Thoroughbreds, the sole Per Incanto offering in the sale, the colt from the mare Our Prized Rose, was purchased for $150,000 by Queensland’s Aquis Farms from the draft of Lyndhurst Farm.
The top priced lot at the sale was a colt by Poet’s Voice, a son of Dubawi, who is bound for Hong Kong following his sale for $280,000. Poet’s Voice, Dubawi’s second son to stud after Makfi, has had a breakthrough season in Europe with his progeny including dual Group 1 winner Poet’s Word.
Dual Group 2 and 3 winner Time Test (Dubawi-Passage of Time by Dansili), Dubawi’s only son at stud in N.Z, is standing his first season at LA at a service fee of $10,000 plus GST.
