Singapore Success For Nadeem 2YO

Nadeem two-year-old Yaya Papaya (Nadeem-Cassini by Reset) defeated a number of highly regarded three-year-olds to win the 1100m $90,000 Magic Millions Yearling Sales Stakes at Kranji on Sunday.

Sunday’s success has qualified the Gail Drought bred gelding for the last leg of The Singapore Golden Horseshoe series on July 7.

Meanwhile in South Africa over the weekend, Nadeem’s stakes performing four-year-old Fareeq (Nadeem-Azwa by Haafhd) ran second in a feature event over 1600m at Turffontein and the LA bred three-year-old The Great One (Nadeem-Heureka by Yamanin Vital) filled the same placing at Scottsville, also over 1600m.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
