Fresh from exciting breeze-ups last week, LA’s representatives for the NZB Ready to Run Sale on 21 and 22 November got a further boost with the win of Nadeem Sapphire (Nadeem-Sunbrease by Towkay) in Singapore on Sunday.
Nadeem Sapphire, also sold at last year’s sale by Riversley Park on LA’s behalf, has a half brother by Ocean Park this year and the colt showed a swift turn of foot when he breezed-up in 10.55. The colt is LOT 279.
The Centaine mare Trigon Lass, whose only previous RTR graduate is the six time Hong Kong winner National Treasure, is represented by LOT 306, also in the Riversley draft. The Per Incanto, who breezed-up in 10.56, hails from the same family of Melt, with both horses descendents of the blue hen mare Bourbon Lass.
LOT 387, the Showcasing filly from Bondi Beauty also has a black-type laden female family. Presented by Kilgravin Lodge, the filly, who broke 11 seconds in her breeze-up, is from the same family as Black Mamba, Roman Emperor, Tully Thunder and Hong Kong star Glorious Days.
