Both LA stallions posted excellent results at the NZB Ready to Run Sale held at Karaka this week.
Per Incanto had four yearlings sell at an average of $132,500, with Hong Kong interests purchasing his top priced lot, paying $240k for the gelding from the Testa Rosa mare Starossa.
Time Test’s top priced lot is also Hong Kong bound after the Mapperley Stud consigned colt from the Fastnet Rock mare Roc de Chine (pictured) realised $140,000. The other Time Test two-year-old to sell was the gelding from O’Reilly mare Needlly who was purchased by Pertab Racing.
Overall, the sale was an outstanding precursor to the summer yearling sales with the exceptional results more vindication of the reputation of the NZ thoroughbred and to the recent investment in domestic prizemoney.
