Time Test Hints at Bright Season Ahead

Fresh up since running midfield in the 2000m Group 3 Higgins Concrete Manawatu Classic back in the autumn, the Jamieson Park bred (Time Test-Famous Attraction by Domesday) was an impressive winner of the rating 65 140m at Riccarton on Saturday.

The Time Test 4Y gelding now has a record of two wins and a placing from just five starts.

A $40,000 Karaka Book 1 purchase by Paul Willetts, who also secured recent Winter Championship winning Time Test filly Delorean at the same sale, Jon Ol Rocco has strengthened noticeably since last in work and to win over 1400m augurs well for a productive season for a galloper with his staying profile.

Runner-up to Savabeel on the 22/23 NZ Sires Premiership for 3YO winners and outright leading second season sire, Time Test is outstanding value for the 2023 breeding season at a service fee of $10,000 plus GST.

In other Saturday action, high class Per Incanto colt Little Brose (Per Incanto- by ) looks spot on target for his big spring target the 1600m Caulfield Guineas, with a fast finishing third in the 1200m Group 3 McNeil Stake at the Melbourne track
