Time Test's First Stakes Winner Achieved in Style

Time Test’s first black-type winner came at Newbury on Friday afternoon UK time with progressive filly Tardis (Time Test-Twizzell by Equiano) defeating 18 others to take the 1000m Listed St Hugh’s Stakes on good to firm going.

A winner of her previous start at Bath after placing at her first two career runs, Tardis finished powerfully through the middle of the field to land the Newbury feature, suggesting that further distance is only going to be to her benefit.

Tardis dam is by Equinao, who stood briefly in Australia, while his second dam is a daughter of Danzig’s son Green Desert. Interestingly Time Test’s other black type performer to date The King’s Horses, who ran third in a Group 3 contest at his most recent start, features Green Desert in his female pedigree.

Time Test, arrived back at Little Avondale this afternoon, is almost fully booked for his fourth SH season at $8,500 plus GST. Anyone still considering mating plans for 2021 shouldn’t hesitate to contact Sam on 0274 853400.
