Towkay Sires G2 Winner

Ace Aliado (Towkay-Waikawa) became Towkay's tenth individual stakeswinner taking Sunday's Group Two EW Barker Trophy in Singapore at 1400m. Unbeaten now in seven career starts the Christopher Grace bred four-year-old has once again earned generous praise from his regular pilot, Champion Singaporean jockey Saimee Jumaat. "The sky is the limit for this horse," Jumaat said. "He doesn't win by much but he clearly knows how to win." "He is such a fighter and the way he is racing he can go onto bigger and better things."

Highlighting the much improved standard of Singaporean racing Ace Aliado ran the 1400m on the grass track in 1.20.8 taking a full second off the course record time. Ace Aliado's stake earnings stand at NZ $428,000 following his latest success.

In Victoria, Australia the LA bred and owned Bellabachi (Zabeel-Sound Lover) won over 2000m for trainer Danny O'Brien on Wednesday by six lengths.

It won't be easy taking on the like's of 2000 Guineas winner Katie Lee and getting the visitors draw out almost in the carpark but we are still confident the LA bred filly Aspinal (Pins-Clermont Rose) whom we race with a group of friends can still run a big race in Saturday's Group One 1000 Guineas at Riccarton.Note Sam's HOT TIP top right of the website!

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
