Exciting 4YO Our Wind Spirit (Per Incanto-Timpin by Pins) kept his perfect Australian record with another authoritative win, scoring over 1100m at Ballarat on Friday.
Despite been posted three-wide for the entire race, the Heather and Peter Crofskey bred gelding was never off the bridle, drawing away to record a comfortable win by a length and a half.
Our Wind Spirit has now won all four of his Australian starts after been purchased off his breeders by agent Brad Spicer following a fast finishing third at his sole NZ start back in April last year at Te Aroha.
Trained by Lindsey Smith, Our Wind Spirit joins track record holder Lost and Running, class record holder Belluci Babe and Icantoo as unbeaten Australian performers for their sire Per Incanto.
