Time Test’s rapid rise to prominence amongst the European first crop sires continued at Epsom Thursday night NZ time with Nuvolari (Time Test – Luang Prabang by Invincible Spirit) winning impressively on debut over 1400m.
A 40K guineas Tattersalls Book 2 Yearling Sale purchase, the colt came from three lengths off the pace with 200m to go, running down the leaders on a track rated good.
Nuvolari is Time Test’s 7th individual winner from 21 runners. The seven winners include three in stakes company with another colt being Group 3 placed.
Time Test’s sensational start with his first runners bodes well for his oldest Australasian progeny who have just turned two and gives vendors of the nine entries by the son of Dubawi in the upcoming NZB Ready to Run Sale plenty to look forward to.
