A First For First Lady

Leading trainer Gai Waterhouse has her first Per Incanto.

In conjunction with First Light Racing and Paul Willetts, Gai and co-trainer Adrian Bott signed for the Per Incanto-Fast Quickstep filly on the final day of the Inglis Classic Sale earlier this week.

LA’s two other yearlings in the Classic Sale were also well sought after. Christopher Grace’s Darci Brahma colt was purchased by O’Gorman Racing for $65,000 while the other Per Incanto yearling in the Sale, our filly from Tinkermia, went to Jason Warren Racing/Cameron Cooke Bloodstock for $67,500.

Once again our draft were splendidly presented by the Sledmere Stud crew. Thanks for another great week guys.

History, tradition, family, good values and lots of fun. Also when we inspect an LA yearling we do so with confidence in the horses’ upbringing, soundness and temperament. It’s a theory that has worked well because with Dominic we’ve bought the likes of Redeem The Dream and the stakeswinner Sir Lovesalot
