Son Of Per Incanto In Impressive Sydney Win

Consistent 4YO Lanciato (Per Incanto-Surreptitious by O’Reilly) gained a well deserved first Australian success when finishing strongly to win over 1400m at Rosehill on Wednesday. A dual winner when trained by Graham Richardson, the LA and JML Bloodstock bred gelding had placed in four of his last five starts, all in Sydney, prior to Wednesday’s success.

Lanciato’s win follows Cantare’s (Per Incanto-Nanneri by Le Bec Fin) 12 length demolition of his R65 opponents at Gisborne on Sunday.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
