Another Group 1 Performer For Per Incanto

After placing in the first two legs of the Singapore Three-Year-old Challenge when caught wide from difficult draws, Per Incanto colt Magnum (Per Incanto-Sound Lover by Sound Reason) once again lost little caste in defeat against the best three-year-old sprinter-milers in Singapore with a brave third in the 1600m Group 1 Singapore Guineas on Sunday making him Per Incanto's fourth Gr 1 performer

Ridden positively by Corey Brown to take a sit outside the leader after 400m, the James Peters trained colt momentarily looked the winner at the 300m before getting overhauled in the closing stages of the 1600m event.

Magnum is one of seven new stakes performers for Per Incanto in the 2015/16 season, an achievement bettered only by Savabeel amongst his domestic contemporaries.

Per Incanto (Street Cry-Pappa Reale by Indian Ridge) will stand the 2016 season at an unchanged service fee of $15,000 plus GST.
