Leading Australian Stable Unleash Per Incanto Colt

The leading Victorian stable of David Hayes and Tom Debernig look to have unearthed an exciting prospect for spring racing following the impressive winning debut of their Per Incanto two-year-old Amanaat (Per Incanto-Mazij by General Nediym) over 1000m in Victoria last Thursday.

Interviewed post race, winning rider Michael Walker stated “He’s a machine...... he’s been going really well in jumpouts and trackwork and you saw that tonight.” Walker went onto add, “He’s got a very bright future and you can look for him in the spring”.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
