Black Type For LA Graduate

LA Karaka graduates were in the thick of the black-type action at Ellerslie on New Years Day.

The LA and Don Gordon bred All Roads (Road To Rock-Dancing Daze by Dance Floor), a $40,000 purchase from our 2013 Karaka Select draft finished strongly for second in the G2 Rich Hill Mile.

Although denied black-type by a bob of the head, the effort of the inexperienced LA and Jim Barlow bred Driven Force (Road To Rock-Baradevi by Volksraad) for fourth in the G2 Royal Stakes has emphasised the quality of the pedigree of LOT 59 in our 2017 Karaka Premier draft. By the sire of the moment Savabeel, the colt, who is bred on the same cross as Kawi, looks sure to be a heavily inspected lot come 30 January.

Driven Force was a $60,000 purchase by Phil Cataldo for Luca Cumani from our 2015 Karaka Select draft.

Confidence in knowing that buying an LA product it has being raised properly and with their record of success in black-type racing you have a better than even chance of the horse competing at the pinnacle of Australasian racing
