Breeders Stakes The Target For LA

The stud look's to have quality representation in the upcoming Group One New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes at Te Aroha judging by results over the last few days.

Xanadu (Elusive City-Forest Dream) returned to form in emphatic style with a comprehensive performance to win the three-year-old event at Tauranga on Saturday. Bred by LA and sold privately to our good client John Gilbert, the long striding filly should be well suited to the expansive Te Aroha track.

Kekova (Elusive City-Racing Waters) who made it two wins on end with her victory at Tauherenikau yesterday is also chasing a start in New Zealand's equivalent of the Coolmore Classic. Bred by LA and raced in partnership with a group of close friends, the four-year-old mare was posting her fifth win from seventeen starts with her latest success.

In Singapore on Sunday, three-year-old Good Towkay (Towkay-Outstripping) posted his third career win when successful over 1200m.

All eyes and ears around the farm this weekend will be on the LA bred and raced Skittle (Pins-Rapid Kay) as she chases black-type for the first time when lining up in the Listed Fairdale/Goodwood Flying handicap over 1400m.
